The closing ceremony of 2020 China Internet Conference (CIC) held online on July 25.

The three-day conference divided into three parts: online forums, online exhibitions, and special events based on the theme of "Embracing a New Internet Era and Co-creating a New Industry Future", combining hot topics of new infrastructure, 5G, artificial intelligence, and industry. It included 22 forums, 6 online interactive exhibitions, 39 cloud exhibitions, 6 searching activities, and also released 12 new projects, held 1 local activity. More than 360 academicians, domestic and foreign industry experts and business representatives expressed their wonderful views at the conference. More than 300 medias reported on the conference, and more than 30 platforms and medias simultaneously broadcasted it online, with more than 120 million audiences online.

On the evening of July 25, the 2020 (19th) China Internet Conference closed successfully online with the "Public Welfare Ceremony" as the closing ceremony. The Ceremony is a high-quality gala with many bright spots. It elaborated the landmark events of the Chinese Internet industry in 2019-2020, and the public welfare actions of the Chinese Internet industry, especially in the outbreak of COVID-19. It reflects the changes that the Internet has made to China's social economy and ordinary people's lives.
